Понравилось: Great staff, convenient to transportation

Понравилось: The hotel is very clean and the bathrooms are new. The beds were comfortable, though the rooms are small. The staff were very nice and friendly and make their guests feel welcome. The location is the best part: The Eiffel Tower is not far; lots of cafés and restaurants; Rue Cler is nearby and the wonderful Musée Quai Branly is not far.

Не понравилось: Typical of small Paris hotels, no elevator and a winding staircase. There is a non-smoking policy, but some guests smoked in their rooms. As soon as a room was available on the lowest floor, the staff kindly moved me to a room where those guests on that floor were non-smokers.

Понравилось: This was a very basic, safe, comfortable place to stay. We chose it for the location knowing it was a very basic 2 star and lived up to the basic expectations.

Не понравилось: At the end of our trip we asked the front desk whether it would be easy to get an Uber to the airport at 430am the next day or if we should book a taxi. We were advised that we’d need to prebook a taxi and not to worry, they had a contract with a taxi company and would book for us. Well, it wasn’t a taxi. It was a private hire car costing almost double the rate for a taxi. The driver was horrible and we feared for our lives on the 30 minute journey that we were then required to pay €60 for. Extremely disappointed that the hotel staff would pull such a stunt and even more disappointing that they’d have a contract with a car company with such dangerous and incompetent drivers. Completely coloured the rest of the experience.
