Hotel Beaubourg

Понравилось: staff was super nice and helpful. would definitely recommend this hotel.

Понравилось: Location amazing, lots of bars and restaurants close by, metro stop 2 mins away, supermarket 2 mins away. Helpful, courteous staff available all the time, great English speaking members of staff with advice to offer.

Не понравилось: Breakfast was a little sparse. Great bread and pastries but more varied fruit would have been welcome ( only bananas on offer).

Понравилось: Very good location so quite expensive. Excellent air conditioning which was essential as it was very hot. Decor a bit old fashioned but still nice.

Не понравилось: Only one teabag, no coffee for two people for five days. Duvet too heavy for hot summer. Brochures 5 years out of date.

Понравилось: The location of this hotel is very good - just by the Pompidou center. So you can go by foot to Louvre or any other direction. and Le Marais is nearby - the finest part of Paris for me.

Не понравилось: The hotel manager who greeted us on first of August, 2022. First, I got an email saying that my room will be prepared by 13:00. We came earlier and asked can we come at 13:00 to the room. the answer was no, it will be prepared by 14:00. ok, but then why promise it till 13:00. Second, his hygiene (nails) were atrocious - sorry but it was the first time I saw such non-hygiene hands in such area of work.Third, after one night I asked to change the room, because it was on the ground floor without any daylight (no 1 room) and with horrible decay smell (I had to use my anti-alergic medicine bc of that for the rest of stay). The same manager then started not understanding english, then required us to pack and leave our room; when I asked him does he have a room to change for us and can he show it, he got very angry, started to speak french and not understand english again. all ended with me leaving this topic and going to the planned trip to the museum. So we ended living all week in this room. it was really nice, clean, with big and white bathroom, only well it did not outplay smell and darkness. oh, and minibar did not work:)
