Le Citizen Hôtel

Понравилось: Location fantastic right next to the canal and an easy walk to 'the centre' of Paris. Lots of great restaurants close by. Feels like a more authentic stay in a pretty village atmosphere, slightly removed from all the tourists a couple of streets away. Room was tiny (fine for one person) but to be expected as in Paris and rate was fair - gorgeous view onto canal. Bed was comfy and although on a busy street, there was no street noise.

Не понравилось: I would rather the room key also buzzes you into the hotel vs having to wait for a staff member to open the door every time you come in. Sound proofed for street noise with windows, but rooms have an adjoining door to next door room so could hear everything.

Понравилось: The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. The hotel has really good facilities, the shower was amazing as was the bed, we slept so well. The hotel is very cool and nestled in a great area with lots of great bars and restaurants near by as well as a metro so it’s easy to get around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris and we will definitely be back.

Понравилось: The hotel is in a great location, close to so many cafes, restaurants and bars (like SO many). It was easy to find and both the booking and check in processes were super easy and efficient. The staff were wonderful, they were so friendly and eager to help (booked us a taxi, kept our luggage after check out, and Ella even got us a reservation for a wonderful meal, without which we wouldn't have eaten at that restaurant that night as all of the tables were taken within 20 minutes of it opening). The hotel is clean and presentable. The room was on the more compact size but I knew that would be the case before arriving and to be honest, it had a great view, the best shower I have probably ever had! A comfy bed and black out blinds. I would absolutely recommend Le Citizen Hotel to other people visiting Paris, wanting a lovely and local vibe.
